📌 Important Notes:

  • China: Only the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions are parties to the Apostille Convention. Mainland China is not a party; documents intended for use there require traditional legalization.

  • Canada: Became a party to the Apostille Convention on January 11, 2024.Netherlands Worldwide

  • Bangladesh: Joined the Apostille Convention, with the treaty entering into force on March 30, 2025.

  • Kosovo: While a party to the Convention, its status may not be recognized by all countries.
